WHAT IS SPECIAL
Reference 3466 is a rare and distinctive mid-20th-century Patek Philippe sports wristwatch. Produced between 1962 and 1970, total production is believed to be fewer than 1,000 pieces. Crafted in stainless steel, this watch stands out among the brand’s predominantly precious-metal dress watches of the era with its uniquely sporty yet elegant character.
The Ref. 3466 is powered by the automatic Caliber 27-460, one of Patek Philippe’s early in-house automatic movements, fitted with a solid 18k gold rotor. The use of such a refined movement within a steel case is quintessentially Patek Philippe. Its classic round case is complemented by straight, downward-turning lugs, lending the watch a solid and confident presence on the wrist. The dial features a sunburst finish radiating from the center, adding depth and visual appeal.
